I was born in St.TeresaHospital in Hong Kong. 

December 1988

I went to a Catholic school call St. Teresa School Kowloon, it was name after Mother Teresa, and it was also from the same organization to the hospital where I was borned.

December 7- In America, an earthquake (6.9 on the Richter scale) kills nearly 25,000, injures 15,000 and leaves 400,000 homeless.

I was lived in a place with the threat of earthquake and I am very aware of that right now, especially in Los Angeles.

September1989

I knew my best friends Johnathan, and Kevin in my first grade in primary school.

August 1999

My whole family immigrated to the States, and began my new life in America.  We chose to settle in Los Angeles because a lot of my relatives were here.  I was a freshman in AlhambraHigh School.  I wasn’t really good in English at that time, and tried to catch up and spent a lot of time in tutoring center after school.

August 22- Mandarin Flight 642 crashed in Hong Kong.

I am shocked when I just see this.  I took my very first flight in my life in August 27 and flied from Hong Kong to America, and I just realized that there was a plane crash incident happened 5 days before I rode my first flight.

June 2003

I was graduated in Alhambra High School, and I was accepted to Cal State L.A., but I ended up going to PasadenaCityCollege because I didn’t have any idea what major that I really want to study.  I took some accounting classes since I was pretty good at math in high school.  I went to a career day, and I saw some works and portfolios from students that graduated from art schools.  After that, I started taking a lot of art class, and decided to major in product design.

June 10-  Same sex-marriage in Canada: The Ontario Appeals Court rules that the law restricting marriage to heterosexual couples contravenes the equality provisions in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom. The court does not permit the province any grace time to bring its law in conformity with the ruling. This appears to mean that Ontario has become the first jurisdiction in North America to recognize same sex marriage.  Toronto announces that its city clerk will begin to issue marriage licences to same-sex couples, and two same-sex couples who filed suit have their marriages retroactively recognized.

January 2004

I went to surf and snowboard for the very first time, and felt in love with these sports, and I am still doing it regularly.

September 2006

I transferred to Otis College of Art Design as a sophomore in IPD.

June 2008

I have an internship offer from Hasbro Toy Inc.in Rhode Island, and that is the first time I traveled to east coast.  Hasbro Toy was a really big company with licenses like Marvel, and Starwars.  It was an awesome experience, because of the fun environment, and also I got to travel to a lot of places, including New York, Philadelphia.  Living in Rhode Island is a totally different life than in L.A. and I really have fun there.

May 2009

I have my graduation show this May and I consider that’s the highlight of my life.  I was happy that my family and my friends can witness my 3 years of hard work.
