Using Links:

1.  A navigation tool named "sidebar" is located to the right of every window and will link you to different pages in this wiki.

2. Click on any underlined text - their links to more content.

3. To view each page without the sidebar, click on the black triangle at the top right above "Page History".

Comments:

1.  You can comment on any page without a password using the "comment" tab at the top or bottom. Please leave a recognizable nickname so we know who commented.

Content:

1.  In order to post or edit on a page you must have been invited to the wiki (via Otis Email) and logged in with your username and password. Select the "edit tab" at the top of the page. Under the "edit" feature, the wiki page acts like a word document.

2.  Please follow the link in each section to post your answers or comments.

3.  Click "edit page" at the top of each page that you want to post and when you are finished click "save".

4. If you make a mistake - select the undo arrow at the top or cancel at the bottom.

5. If you accidentally delete everything, don't worry. With "page history", you can go back to an earlier version and start again!

6.  The separation line is in the toolbox (insert horizontal line).

7. You will need to "login" to use the chatroom feature on the FrontPage.

Important Note: I strongly recommend you work on writing and drafting your text in a Word document first. When you edit a page, another user does not have access to that page. This can create a jam when it comes time for posting due dates and the page is locked with someone editing. Post early and be courteous - don't steal locks. In addition, sometimes when you copy and paste from Word into the wiki, some original formatting will transfer over. To avoid this, I suggest first copy and pasting from Word into Wordpad or Notepad to erase that formatting. Then go from Wordpad or Notepad and into the wiki. You can then adjust your text on the wiki.

Uploading Images/Documents:

To insert photographs

1. Under the "edit" window, go to the "Insert Links" column at the right.

2. Select "Images and Files", browse for a file and an icon of the picture will appear below.

3. Go to your page and select where you want the picture to appear and hit upload.

To insert links - under the edit window,

5. Highlight the text on your page you want linked.

6. Go to the "Insert Links" column at the right.

5. Pages are listed below.

7. Select the page on the wiki.

8. If you want to link to a website, click "insert a link to a new page" select URL under page type and copy and paste the address in and hit save.
